Psychotherapy
Empathetic, Evidence-Based Education and Therapy
Serving Families in New York and New Jersey
Working with warm, loving families who just want to do right by their kids.
I am a therapist for children and adolescents with behavioral issues. I am also here to support their parents with psychotherapy and psychoeducation. I specialize in helping kids and families navigate home and school so that they can get the most out of both. My clients often present with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, or other diagnoses.
As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I employ a range of therapies to work with children and parents together. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have extensive counseling experience as a provider of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectial behavior therapy, Schema Therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. As a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I have over a decade of additional experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis, as a clinician, supervisor, and training leader. Fusing these modalities, I am a fully credentialed Parent-Child Interaction Therapist, for which I work with children and parents together.
“A failure is not always a mistake; it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying.” ~B.F. Skinner
My approach is centered around empathy, education, and evidence-based practices.
Children, adolescents, caregivers and adults will find an empathetic and collaborative partner ready to tackle challenges together.
While you cannot control what has already happened, choosing a therapist who can align with your treatment goals is the first step in taking control of your future.
